Design and Construction

Engineering is defined in our dictionary as the application of physical and scientific principles in the design process and the subsequent development and processing of each drawn idea and concept until complete implementation.

Our engineering process

Establishing a project is a multi-disciplinary process that consists of planning, analysis, designing, construction and maintenance. We can streamline the process in points:

Study from an engineering perspective.

Experiencing spaces and engineering design from a human and practical perspective.

Make an assessment of implementation costs.

Reviewing the study from a real estate, investment, and economic feasibility perspective.

Redeveloping the study from an engineering and practical perspective.

Obtaining project implementation permits

Re-testing the costs of implementation works

Starting implementation work for the concrete structure.

Follow up on the schedule and technical schedule for implementing the concrete structure.

Starting implementation work for finishing works.

Follow up on the technical schedule for implementing finishing works.

Final deliverables to government agencies.

Final deliveries to business owners and investors.

Project management and follow-up maintenance and warranty work.

“Nile is all about science”

The long history and experience in our structural and architecture engineering speaks louder than words; reflecting one solid image which is “Nile is all about science” ; we have a long-lasting mission of designing, establishing, developing and renovating quality buildings.

Stages of Design and Implementation

Our designing process begins from conceptualization to design; we plan and supervise the construction and maintenance of buildings and projects that we implement. That's why we are here to:

01

Preparing technical studies

The first phase of any project is the planning study phase during which project managers and their teams evaluate the project requirements, objectives, and overall feasibility, and then develop a project budget to work from. This first phase is very crucial for the project as a whole because it allows stakeholders to evaluate whether moving forward with the project is a good idea or not. It also establishes for how all aspects of the project will be implemented and its desired objectives achieved if the decision is made to implement.

02

Designing and Building Permits

The second stage is the design stage, which is the time in which comprehensive plans are drawn up for the final design of the project with all its structural and architectural details and everything surrounding it, as well as studying the preparation of the project site and all the necessary preparations to begin implementation work. Total cost estimates are also determined and studied and the amount of cash flows required is determined. After the final design is completed, the necessary licenses and permits are obtained to work on the site Studying the implementation plan at this stage is also considered crucial to identifying contractors, equipment, raw materials, and everything the project needs throughout its implementation period.

03

Procurement

The procurement phase of the construction project is when the project manager and his team order, purchase or rent all the materials, tools, equipment and services they require to execute the project. Some documents that’ll be used during this procurement phase include the material takeoff and bill of quantities. This stage allows savings in the project which increases the commercial construction profit margin for the owners. A contractor with a good and reliable network of suppliers or one working on several projects at the time may save a lot.

04

Construction and Monitoring

At this stage, the actual construction of the project begins. Our creation process is divided into five main steps that complement each other. Each of them has a specific sequence and processes in order to reach the desired results that were planned for each project we implement, which are: - Securing site boundaries - Preparing the work site and making the necessary equipment - Implementing the concrete structural structure of the project - Establishment of electrical, plumbing and electromechanical works - Internal and external finishing works for the project

05

Post-Construction

The project closure phase of the project is the last step in the long process of designing and completing a construction project. Now that all the work on the job site has been completed, the project will come to a close. From our perspective, it’s a good time to carry out a post-project review which could help detect any tasks that weren’t completed, analyze any challenges and put together a list of informative insights for the future. The documentation is packaged and delivered to the client that may include the results of quality control inspections and technical submittals so the client can verify that the poject followed all design requirements.
